Yes, the fudge should be wrapped in saran wrap, then wrapped in aluminum foil and placed in a freezer bag, getting as much of the air out as possible and then into the freezer. The fudge will freeze well for up to a year. When you take it out of the freezer, leave the freezer bag with the fudge on the counter to thaw. Do not unwrap to thaw in the open air.
Keep it wrapped and leave it at room temperature.
